THE CHRISTMAS SONG BY PRISMA BRASIL

PRISMA BRASIL is a Brazilian Christian Gospel music group dedicated to spreading the love of God through song. Founded in 1980 by the pianist Eli Prates and currently directed by his son, Rafael Prates, the Prisma Group is an ensemble of the Young Choir of the Adventist University Center of São Paulo (UNASP) of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Comprised of students, employees, and professors of UNASP, the group remains young as members graduate and are replaced by new students.

Over the decades, Prisma Brasil has released 58 CDs and 6 DVDs, winning 9 Diamond Disc Awards. The featured song, A Canção de Natal / The Christmas Song, is the opening song on their album of the same name, released in 2017.

In addition to performing throughout Brazil to audiences as large as 200,000 people, the Christian Gospel Choir has toured Argentina, Canada, Paraguay, the United States, and Uruguay.

THE CHRISTMAS SONG BY PRISMA BRASIL

Glory to God in the highest
Echoes at night in Bethlehem
Angels from heaven announce:
The Redeemer was born

Celebrate! Hallelujah!
The Messiah has come!

To the world hope has been given
Reaching every tribe and nation
For all the weary and afflicted
He became flesh and offers peace
This is the hour, glorious hour
The Messiah has come! The messiah has come!
This is the Christmas song

Glory to God in the highest
Sung for generations
We no longer fear the darkness
For Christ is with us
Celebrate! Hallelujah!
Jesus saved us

To the world hope has been given
Reaching every tribe and nation
For all the weary and afflicted
He became flesh and offers peace
This is the hour, glorious hour
The Messiah has come! The Messiah has come!
This is the Christmas song

Glory! Glory! Glory!
Let the people sing: Glory! Glory! Glory!
Let the earth sing: Glory! Glory! Glory!
Glory! Glory!

To the world hope has been given
Reaching every tribe and nation
For all the weary and afflicted
He became flesh and offers peace
This is the hour, glorious hour
The Messiah has come! The Messiah has come!
This is the Christmas song

Glory! Glory!
The Christmas song
Glory! Glory! Glory!

A CANÇÃO DE NATAL POR PRISMA BRASIL

Glória a Deus nas alturas
Ecoa à noite em Belém
Anjos do céu anunciam:
Nasceu o redentor
Celebrai! Aleluia!
O Messias chegou!

Para o mundo a esperança foi dada
Alcançou toda tribo e nação
Para todo cansado e aflito
Fez-se carne e estende a mão
Esta é a hora, hora gloriosa
O Messias chegou! O Messias chegou!
Esta é a canção de Natal

Glória a Deus nas alturas
É cantado há gerações
Não mais tememos as trevas
Pois, Cristo, conosco está
Celebrai! Aleluia!
Jesus nos salvou

Para o mundo a esperança foi dada
Alcançou toda tribo e nação
Para todo cansado e aflito
Fez-se carne e estende a mão
Esta é a hora, hora gloriosa
O Messias chegou! O Messias chegou!
Esta é a canção de Natal

Glória! Glória! Glória!
Que o povo cante: Glória! Glória! Glória!
Que a Terra cante: Glória! Glória! Glória!
Glória! Gloria!

Para o mundo a esperança foi dada
Alcançou toda tribo e nação
Para todo cansado e aflito
Fez-se carne e estende a mão
Esta é a hora, hora gloriosa
O Messias chegou! O Messias chegou!
Esta é a canção de Natal

Glória! Glória!
A canção de Natal
Glória! Glória! Glória!
