HAIKU POEMS ON BEING HUMAN BY ROSALIENE BACCHUS

The inspirational story The Haiku Master by Takiko Morimoto (USA, 2014) set me on the path to writing Haiku poetry.
The featured poems were written during the period 2011 to 2013.

OUR LEGACY

Naked we are born.

What will be our legacy

when we are long gone?

Colors of life

Nature's true palette,

Smiling faces, all races.

The colors of life.

ACTING LIKE GODS

Perhaps the gods laugh

at our self-destructive gaffe

of acting like gods.

NO SATISFACTION

Men craving for more:

more stuff more power more junk.

No satisfaction.

NATURE OF MAN

Darkness shuns the light

Hatred crumbles with love's might.

The nature of Man.

PRISONERS

Satellites in space

cars & planes increase our pace.

Beliefs set in stone.
